What Street Photography Taught Me About Getting Out of My Own Way
I spend most of my working hours in a controlled environment. Every light has a label on it. I have a diagram app on my phone that I built myself. When a new modifier arrives, it gets tested the same day it comes out of the box. Control is my professional language, and I am fluent in it. So when a street photography video stopped me mid-scroll and made me rethink something fundamental about how I approach a shoot, that was worth paying attention to.
